Lunebi — Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Lunebi mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not use the App.

2. Eligibility and Parental Responsibility

• Target Audience: Lunebi is designed for parents and legal guardians of children aged 2-8.
• Account Holder: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Supervision: While the content is child-friendly, the App is a tool for parents. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. User Accounts and Security

• Authentication: We use Firebase Auth (Google and Apple Sign-In) to manage identity.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

Lunebi offers different tiers of service:

• Free Plan: Includes access to story texts and 3 narrated plays per month using preset voices only.
• Pro Plan ($9.99/month): Includes unlimited narration plays, offline playback, and a limited number of plays using your cloned voice.
• Family Plan ($14.99/month): Includes multiple cloned voice profiles and unlimited cloning playback.
• Billing: Payments are processed via Stripe or Apple/Google In-App Purchases. All subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5. Voice Cloning and Biometric Data

• The "Vault" Model: To use voice cloning, you record a voice sample which is stored in our secure cloud vault (AWS S3).
• Usage Rights: You represent that you are cloning your own voice or have explicit legal guardianship over the person whose voice is being cloned. Cloning third-party voices (celebrities, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
• AI Processing: Voice synthesis is performed by the Qwen3-TTS/XTTS v2 model on isolated GPU workers (RunPod). Processing memory is wiped immediately after the audio is generated.
• No AI Training: We do not use your voice recordings or embeddings to train or improve our foundational AI models.

6. Data Deletion and Hard-Delete Policy

• User Control: You can delete your voice profile or account at any time within the App settings.
• Hard-Delete: Executing a delete request triggers a "hard-delete" that permanently purges your raw audio files from the S3 vault and all voice embeddings from our databases.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• AI Content: Audio is generated by AI. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy in pronunciation, tone, or performance.
• "As-Is" Service: The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• Service Interruptions: We are not liable for delays caused by GPU availability or spot instance interruptions.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, where the Project Owner is based.
